Production

  • The fabric covering is made of coated PVC-coated polyester fabrics, with the possible addition of transparent film or mesh. A properly designed method of stretching the fabric into the existing structure ensures maximum durability and strength in the given fastening system, thus ensuring trouble-free use throughout its entire service life. The service life of the cladding is around 10 years.
  • This is a custom-made product tailored to the pergola structure and the client's requirements and needs. Side cover sheets are made of solid material and can be fitted with foil windows with a maximum width of 1.4 m. Another alternative is the production of fully transparent (clear) foils, which are only edged around their perimeter. All types of covers can be equipped with passages and upper straps for manually rolling the covers towards the upper beam.
  • The sails are anchored in several ways, always to the existing wooden or steel structure or other structures, depending on the conditions. For example, using rings, straps, belts and brackets, AL rails, swivel brackets and expanders or zippers, etc. We can advise and suggest the most optimal method.
  • As a service, we can provide professional surveying, installation, and subsequent servicing.
  • For more information on possible configurations and accessories with sample photos, see below.

Entrances with zippers

  • We offer two types of entrances as standard: either a roll-up entrance with two double-sided zippers or an entrance with a slit and a single zipper in the middle.
  • We design each awning so that it can be rolled up independently of the entrances, unless the customer specifically requests a fixed awning.

Sliding doors

  • We also offer sliding frame doors, which are much more convenient for frequent opening than standard solutions with zippers or brackets.
  • We usually fit sliding doors with transparent PVC, but it is of course also possible to use solid canvas or mesh.

Windows

  • We manufacture both solid tarpaulins (without windows) and fully transparent tarpaulins, which are designed to be as transparent as possible apart from the necessary tarpaulin hem around the edges.
  • Alternatively, we can also fit the tarpaulins with windows with a maximum height of 140 cm (height of the transparent PVC material).

Window shielding

  • We can also fit the transparent material of the side sails with shading for areas that are subject to unpleasant sunlight, either as a separate sail with its own fastening or attached directly to the transparent sail.
  • We use a special mesh that is very durable and can also be used as an alternative to transparent sails or as ventilation openings.

Top mounting

  • We commonly offer and highly recommend top mounting on a so-called groove rail made of anodized aluminum (which can be painted), into which the fabric is slid using a special welded tube known as a keder. This type of mounting greatly facilitates installation and ensures easier tensioning to the required strength so that the tarpaulins are as close as possible to the visual transparency of glass.
  • Alternatively, we also offer swivel PVC brackets with metal eyelets or simple fabric edging, which you can attach yourself with screws and washers as you wish.

Side mounting

  • In addition to the standard system known from car tarpaulins – brackets with straps and a simple version without fastening preparation – only edging, to which you can attach tarpaulins with screws and washers as you wish, we also offer two other versions, most requested by our customers, tarpaulin side fastening systems:
    1. The first variant is attachment to so-called swivel PVC brackets fitted with metal eyelets, which are less time-consuming to handle but just as durable as brackets with straps. However, compared to the second variant, they are less airtight and it is not possible to roll up the entire tarpaulin from both sides, as the brackets are only ever on one side.
    2. The second, more exclusive option is to attach the tarpaulin to an aluminum rail with a groove and zipper, which combines aesthetics and practicality in a beautifully coordinated design. thanks to the option of painting the rail to match the color of the tarpaulin hem or another contrasting color and double-sided zippers, which make rolling up the tarpaulin much easier and, above all, faster.
  • In the case of a fixed awning, you can also choose an awning with only a grooved rail without zippers.

Bottom mounting

  • The most popular option, which is also a necessity if the tarpaulin needs to be rolled up, is to finish it with a tunnel for a rolling/load bar. When fitted with any sufficiently long object made of stable material and without sharp edges with a maximum diameter of up to 40 mm (log, rod, etc.), it ensures even tension and load of the tarpaulin on the ground and also facilitates rolling up the tarpaulin, which also extends the life of the rolled material. Customers usually put anything suitable into this tunnel. We offer an anodized aluminum profile 40 × 40 mm on request.
  • We can also simply hem the bottom of individual tarpaulins, but it should be noted that the tarpaulin will be looser and will flap more in the wind, or we can provide metal eyelets with rubber grommets for permanent and strong fastening.
  • In cases where the customer chooses our groove rail for top and side attachment and wants the sail to be fixed (without the possibility of rolling) at the bottom edge as well, it is possible to attach the bottom edge with a rail as well.

Usage

  • Side coverings for various metal, wooden, and built structures, e.g.:
    • pergolas
    • gazebos
    • garages
    • terraces
    • etc.
